The Frog® Appliance offers outstanding molar
distalization without crown or root tipping.
It can be used for either unilateral or bilateral
distalization.
The spring is easily removed and adjusted, each turn of
the screw delivers 0.4 mm of distalization.
The Frog® Appliance uses
a large Nance style button for stability. Wires from the acrylic are
bonded to the occusial surface of the bicuspids and/or molars.
The specialized distalizing screw
can be adjusted intraorally from the anterior by turning the screw
counter clockwise. The Spring wire arms can be removed for
adjustments & fit into lingual sleaths.
