The Twin Block with advancement screws is an adjustable appliance to treat snoring and sleep apnea. The upper and lower plates interface at a 70º angle, advancing the mandible to the desired position. The mandible can be further advanced by activating the advancement screws. Tests show the Twin Block is as effective in treating snoring/sleep apnea as the adjustable Herbst appliance.
